"My approach to therapy is integrative in nature and I incorporate evidence-based approaches and interventions in my work. I believe at the heart of any successful therapeutic encounter is an emphasis on developing a positive relationship with the person I am working with. I provide clients with a safe and affirming environment that validates their identities. My hope for every client I meet is that they walk away with a better understanding of themselves and what they might need to thrive."
A bit about me as a person: My own struggles with mental health and trauma brought me to this field of helping people. I myself attended therapy for a number of years and the people who helped me were vital to my better accepting and understanding myself. I am honored to pay that experience forward.
In my free time you likely would find me spending time with my partner and kids (my family says I am a kid at heart), playing video games, watching anime or some other fantasy based tv-show, going for a run on Constitution trail, cooking and baking, reading a fantasy-based novel, painting my nails, window shopping, etc.
